Welcome to the HPS South Pennine Group's Website

Based in Sheffield and North Derbyshire, we are one of over 40 local groups of Hardy Plant Society members.

The Hardy Plant Society is a charity formed in 1957 which aims to stimulate interest in growing hardy herbaceous plants and to conserve older, rarer and less well-known varieties to prevent their loss. It is an international society and in the UK there are members' groups in many areas.

Missed a meeting? Check out the blogposts page for links to Julieanne's blogs about some of the talks we've enjoyed in 2015.
